Prayer Shawl Ministry
Each prayer shawl, baby blanket or men’s throw is knit together with love and prayers for the recipient. Some are for prayers of healing and stengthening, and for our babies they are knit together with prayers for the life of the child. The softness and warmth are symbolic of being enfolded in the arms of God. Each of these unique creations is then blessed in a Bible study or in a worship service, with the congregation praying over each shawl and blanket. They are given as a token of our love and prayers for the recipient.

who knit you together in your mother’s womb,
who gave you the breath of life,
renew you this day and give you hope to sustain you.
May this prayer shawl be a sign of Christ’s healing presence.
